Carolina Rodriguez Continues Sport Race in Rio 2016

Spanish lionne and famous rhythmic gymnast Carolina Rodríguez Ballesteros announced about her intention to get to compete in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio at the press conference after the European Championship. These would be her third Olympic Games along with Athens 2004 and London 2012.

Now Carolina is on top of her sport form, she’s also on the top in the rating of the twenty international gymnasts, Spanish champion for the ninth time and ranked tenth in the last European Championship held in Baku, Azerbaijan (Individuals).

In spite she carried various injuries, including her ankle injury which required surgery after the Olympic Games in London, she managed to recover. Carolina has been carrying the status of international gymnast since 2001, when together with Jennifer Colino and Almudena Cid she represented Spain in the World Championship, held in Madrid. After thirteen years during which gymnast often thought about her retirement, she’s back stronger than ever.
